We need garden designers now more than ever, to help us bring the natural world into our
daily lives, and to help us take care of this world. Gardens are the link between the everyday
and the vast forces that rule the planet’s weather, creatures and waters. The tūī in the
kowhai and the sound of rain on the leaves remind us that we all share the seasons, the
sunshine and the starlight. Members of the Garden Design Society of Aotearoa New Zealand
bring their skills and experience – and their special talents – to the creation of gorgeous
