Auckland Garden DesignFest  2022 - wrapped up!

Wow what a weekend!

We had visitors queuing outside gardens wanting to get in before 10am each day. Saturday the weather gods were wonderful to us. We saw a lot of sun-kissed faces at Dawson & Co enjoying Malfy Gin & Tonics at the end of the day. Sunday saw a bit of rain but our visitors still came out in force.

We are still working through the numbers for the event but we believe our 2022 event has been the most successful ever! Almost 1,500 visitors came through a single garden! We'll share what we can in a week or two but for now we want to say a massive THANK YOU to all of our GDSNZ members and their friends and family who supported the event by either showing a garden, volunteering in a garden for a shift (or two) or who purchased a ticket (or two) and came along to our event. You may have joined Tom on his tours of Cotter House. or purchased a coffee. You may have pre-ordered an 'eat my lunch' (despite the delays in getting them), some cookie time cookies, KidsCan crackers, Rotary Xmas puddings, Ruby Seeto tea towels & Botanical Bingo. And you may have helped Dawson & Co run out of Malfy Gin!

 

We also want to say a HUGE SHOUT OUT to our incredible sponsors whose support make our event possible. And over 180 volunteers - without your support we could NOT make our event happen. THANK YOU.​
