POSTPONED to 2023 - GDS Garden Visit & Lunch

Next Friday 6th May, 2022 the Events team have arranged an exciting opportunity to explore and enjoy the amazing Riverhaven Artland Sculpture Park and James & Cheryl Wright’s Art Industry Gallery in Clevedon, Auckland. 

Riverhaven  Artland is being built out of love. When Guy Blundell’s wife Sue died  over 20 years ago he started planting trees with a view of creating an  arboretum. Inspired by English Landscape Architect Capability Brown he  planted thousands of ornamental trees and now many years later  Riverhaven looks like a park.   

Riverhaven Artland - “A place where Nature  greets Art”, where artists and visitors are encouraged to interact and  respond with the living environment.   

Entrance fee including guided tour with Guy or Katie Blundell - $25 per person ($35 for non-GDSNZ members) 

Enjoy Anna-Maria’s delicious picnic box lunch for $22 per head or bring your own lunch to enjoy in the Riverhaven grounds.   

After lunch we will make our way to James & Cheryl Wright’s Art Industry Gallery where we hope to hear James talk. Stop off at the Clevedon Co-Op next door for a coffee, while you browse through the gallery.
