About the Event

Jules Moore: ‘The Journey to Gold’ - a talk

Jules Moore is an experienced and well-known garden designer with boundless energy and inspiration for garden design-based projects and businesses that she has achieved over the past four decades.  Many of you will have visited her amazing Touch of the Topics garden centre and nursery in Whenuapai, Auckland.

Among her talents she is a veteran of display gardens at garden shows both nationally and internationally and has won many awards.  In 2024 she was invited to exhibit at the prestigious Singapore Garden Festival and this year she is representing New Zealand, along with 5 other countries, at the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Flower Show in Shenzhen, China.  This is a rare opportunity to present New Zealand’s landscape artistry on a world platform.

Jules' exhibit is entitled Oceans Edge - an expression of the profound relationship between New Zealanders and our surrounding oceans. Her daughter, Alayna Bradbury is a co-designer and created the wonderful models for the garden.

Jules will give an illustrated talk about her experiences at these Asian garden shows, including the Singapore Garden Festival where her garden (Portal to Paradise) won gold in the fantasy division.
