GDSNZ 2026 AGM
Our 23rd AGM will kick off at 6:15pm on Tuesday 16th June, 2026 and we aim to be finished by 7:30pm. Following a supper break we will be entertained by Dr Clare Gleeson who will entertain with us with all things "Alfred Buxton'. Do join us!

About the Event
All GDSNZ financial (fee paying) members are invited to join us for the 23rd AGM (Annual General Meeting) of the Garden Design Society of New Zealand (GDSNZ).

The bar will be open at 6pm. You are welcome to grab yourself a drink then take a seat and join us for the AGM Proper. We will hear from Andy Hamilton (GDSNZ President), Jason G (Secretary), Jill Rice - Chair of our Accreditation Board, Trish Bartleet on the amazing events of the past year and the final Treasurer's report from outgoing Treasurer Phil Oster. Following the AGM will be a 30 minute break for supper and social time.
Dr Clare Gleeson is our guest speaker and will entertain and educate us after the 2026 AGM with 'all things' Alfred Buxton - the most significant landscape gardener in New Zealand in the first half of the twentieth century, creating over 350 gardens in New Zealand between 1900 to the 1940s.
