The Events team have created a beautiful celebration for us all to end the year. We will be visiting a private garden in Te Atatū, Auckland, set in an organic garden looking out onto the Waitematā Harbour.

About the Event
GDSNZ Xmas Party | Sunday 30th November 2025 | 4 - 6pm.
Our Xmas parties are always fabulous and a wonderful way to end the year. For our 2025 event we will return to Chris Ballantyne's organic city-sanctuary with productive gardens in Te Atatū, Auckland. Chris's garden was featured in the 2017 Auckland Garden DesignFest so some of you may be familiar with it - but a lot can change and grow and get even more fabulous - especially in 8 years!
Enjoy a tour around the garden with Chris, admire the views and catch up over a glass of celebratory bubbles (wine and non-alcoholic beverages also available) with wood fired pizza from our friends at MaVa. We look forward to enjoying a beautiful and relaxed afternoon with you.
Garden address will be sent to all ticket purchasers.
Ticket sales close on Sunday 23rd November @ midnight, so if you intend on coming, please get your ticket(s) ASAP.
This event is strictly for GDSNZ members only. Financial members will be able to bring a plus-one or a plus-family. $25 for Paid GDSNZ members, $25 additional for a Plus-one or Plus-Family (up to three children aged up to 12 years). No dogs allowed. A financial member means you have paid your annual subscription ($150, $85, $30 depending on your membership category). Not sure if you are a financial member or not?
