Jan has been designing gardens for 16 years. Having been based in Raglan for the past seven years, she now lives in Hamilton and continues to work all over the Waikato region. Designing for rural lifestyle properties has become a particular favourite, along with creating new town gardens, commerical sites and revamping mature properties. The unique combination of good climate, with distinct seasons, heavy rainfall and rich soil has been a revelation in terms of the rate of growth and establishment of gardens.

Jan loves the people side of the business – learning to listen to clients’ stories and designing outcomes that suit their lifestyles and particular circumstances, as well as the quirks and challenges of each site. She works closely with Cambridge-based design-build landscapers Florida Ltd.
