Te Tiriti workshop 2 | Unitec Marae Visit | POSTPONED
Unitec marae visit and education session including waiata practise, education on history, construction and pou references of the whare whakairo, significance of the whenua (land/surrounding area). We will be sharing kai (lunch).

POSTPONEMENT
We are so very sorry, but for the second time we are having to postpone this event. The move from a Saturday to a weekday seems to have been very inconvenient for most people. Â There is a minimum number of participants required to make this event as interesting and enriching an experience as possible and we have not been able to reach this minimum.Â
We are going to postpone this event for a second time and reschedule for a Saturday in 2024.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and if you've not already seen it, there is a recording of our first Te Tiriti workshop hosted on zoom by Christine Herzog  from Te Tai-awa o te which is well worth watching. It's 90 minutes long and is in the members area on our website: https://www.gardendesignsociety.org.nz/gdsnz-members
